The wheels I am riding right now are totally hubbed and so I am trying to decide what wheels to buy now. What are the best wheels on the market... I have heard good things about epic quakes, proto sliders, and pheonix integra wheels but I want to make sure that I buy one that is going to last a long time. Any suggestions?

I would go with sliders. Honestly i barely hear anything bad about them, but i hear a lot of grippers coming ovalized.

Just wondering whats the beef with grippers? Looks like I haven't done all my homework.

Been riding mine pretty hard for twos months on rough street/cobblestone and they feel like they are holding up great, not one crack in the urethane and they are wearing evenly.. Some posts in here make it sounds like they are doomed.

get demon cores! only 50 a pair and ive had mine for 8 months still going strong

Don't get demon cores. Proto's are solid but so are phoenix wheels. I ended up getting them since i couldn't get my hands on protos at the time and they are holding up well. Still tho, given the choice i would get grippers.

phoenix wheels will last you a really long time my last pair lasted 6 months
