I wouldn't say I got that much stronger from scootering, but it's definitely a good way to stay fit. Almost everyone I have let ride my scooter at the park tells me that it made them tired way faster than skating. Plus, I sweat like a mug when I ride so I get exercise out the ass from riding.

I defiantly helps with pushing, i ride goofy and push with my left leg. And when i say roll my jeans up to shorts they are REALLY tight on my left calf muscle and a lot loser on my right calf, and its only been like that since I've started riding.

Between scootering and playing hockey, I stay in pretty good shape. My brothers 2 years younger than me and ways more then me.

Same, I wear the tightest skinnies I can find and I have to scrape them off my left thigh.

Sure it get's you sore and stuff but it's not like you could just skip a workout at the gym and say "Oh it's cool I scootered today"

Ever since I started riding, I've gotten skinnier, and I stay about the same weight now from riding.
I've gotten upperbody strength, and my legs have gotten huge.
I'm gotten stronger too, and it gave me the skills to grab somebody really hard and beat the crap out of them, just saying :D

Bowl riding is probably one of the best cardio workouts. Idk if it made you THAT much stronger, it was probably just puberty. Unless you're too old for that.

you all want a work out? do this no tricks, no pushing just pure pumping start at the bottom of a bowl qp or snake run or any other kind of vertical slope you need speed 2 ride . So start by not moving at all then sway yourself side 2 side getting speed then go as long as you can. Your main goal is speed get as much speed as you can and carve.

OH ya when you start 2 get tiered stop riding cuz you will fall so ya.......
push yourself but not 2 hard.
