That happend to me. Put grease in the clamp, and sand your forktube with sandpaper. Then hit it on with a rubber mallet.

Do NOT use grease.
Use a penny to block a bolt or an allen key between the notch to pull it wider for a sec.

Yea, no grease. Put one of the bolts in backwards and do the penny trick like Madis is saying and it will slide on. Rubber mallet works to if you have one but do not use a normal hammer or you will jack the clamp. Sanding the fork tube a little will work too but it is not necessary. Whatever you do do not try to modify the clamp in any way.

if you couldnt understand what he said (i barely could until i figured out wat he was talking about) he means to thread the bolt thru backwards on the clamp and put a penny to block the whole to stretch the clamp. if thats not what u meant please correct me

Madis, when I try to loosen the last 2 screws on the clamp it is like IMPOSSIBLE to loosen.
Quadruple clamp = quadruple the tension. You have to loosen each of the 4 bolts a little at a time or all the tension will be released on the last bolt if you do it one at a time and you will never get it out. Snug the first 2 bolts back up to take a little pressure off then loosen the other 2 then loosen all 4 a little at a time until they all come loose. Just like when you tighten the clamp you tighten each one a little bit until they are all snug... it has to come off the exact same way.
