Stay Committed?

I've been in and out of scooters for about a year now, but eventually i run out of motivation, and idea's and what tricks to do, what do you guys do to stay committed? Its mainly not having any idea on what to try next, i'm a pretty average rider, so there is plenty of stuff to do.

Thoughts, ideas, help?

If you're wondering if you should still be riding and are questioning yourself, it's time to stop.
Theres a sympathy thread like this every now and then, but the only response you will get is probably just people being stupid.

Dont focus on new tricks, focus in the fun of riding.

And i get motivation when i travel to other cities and ride with other people.

just go out, ride. watch some vids, don't even do tricks, just bomb some hills or cruise, or work on a mad flow style, If its time you will know something in your heart doesn't want to leave her but you may have to everything happens for a reason.

^lmao i love that haha.
after a session once landing nothing new, i took my sisters new a out and just thrashed the crap out of it. bent forks, chunked back wheel and broken foldy. I still owe her a scooter.

yea like ive been riding for like 2 years now but im not really that good because i focus on just the fun of riding and riding with my friends. whenever i start to focus on actual tricks it gets really boring and frustrating after a while so i just ride for the joy of riding

Ride with people who are better if you wanna learn new stuff. But just try to have fun and not worry about what other people think and if you aren't having fun repeating the same stuff then you should try some new stuff but don't just give up on one trick you are close to just to learn another.

I kind of disagree with the people that are saying just ride, bomb hills, ect.
The things that keep me going is when I push my limits with my riding, doing stuff I never thought I would ever be able to do.

Well you guys have really helped me :)

I used to just think i had to do big tricks, which i wasn't good at, but today i realised me style, and just focused on things i could do for a bit, i actually progressed a lot.

Thankyou guys!

Oh, and I skate as a second hobby, which will keep me from burning out on scooters :)
