So just recently I received my first underage, a $263.50 fine in Portage county Wisconsin. (How I got the fine is a story all on its own but that is for a different place/time)
What I really wanted to make this thread about is the drinking age in the U.S. In my honest opinion making people wait until the age of 21 to drink is complete bullshit. People can go off to war and die for this country but never be allowed to have a sip of alcohol. Now I'm in no way trying to say that there should not be restrictions on alcohol consumption.
What I personally think would be the best way for the United States to handle this problem is to allow anyone who gradates highschool and is over the age of 19 to drink alcohol. This I believe works best for everyone because it allows people who are of an acceptable age to drink and it also keeps all alcohol out of highschools(which is one thing I completely agree with).
Discuss, talk ----- tear me apart, whatever just getting my ideas out there.
