Well you obviously have never spent a lot of your time working on a set of trails.

The last thing you want is a bunch of kids with dirt scooters rolling in and casing every single jump. Then the crew spends over an hour fixing the jumps just to have kids that wreck everything show back up.

So don't talk shit about something you don't know about.
Woooord. I hated having to fix jumps when people visted my trails while I wasn't there. And I put a lot of work into making my trails smooth, can't stand bumpy runways and packs. Whenever some random would tag a set at my trails, and I was there. My local buddies and I would yell "FIX IT!" And literally wait until he patched in his rut correctly before we'd ride again.

I miss building. And having people help me build.

Good man. I am glad you can empathize with this.
I have to start building all over again because this last week my local jumps got plowed.

I was really bummed.
Yeah, man. My trails got plowed every Sept. or Nov. They plowed them once a year, whenever they took out the overgrowing grass and tumbleweeds. I hated it because one day I would ride, next day come back and they would be plowed. I had to think of it in a positive way and say that it was a chance at building something even better every time. I guess I was just lucky they only plowed once a year, most trails in my area were gone in weeks. One of the best spots was down the train tracks from mine, and they turned the spot into a parking lot. Then those builders setup the infamous "Backyard" trails that were super popular for pros to ride. Now that land was bought out and is being used for gardening and crops, haha.

I noticed your picture is at Fullerton Skatepark. I assume you ride at St. Jude Trails?! My buddy David made the original jumps right down the hill behind the tennis ball courts. Then he stopped riding, we went back a couple years later and people started building more to them, before they got plowed and the riders/builders moved down the hill to the trees.

Yes I ride there all the time now since my trails are gone.

What is David's last name?

Also, we need to shred man.

I would love to flow some trails with you if you still ride bikes.

You're dumb. You did exactly that, made it seem as if it was a good thing. If you wanted it to sound bad, don't be a pussy, just say it.

Are the streets really that raw that you have to spell it with a z? Might as well spell scooters with a k.

there will be scoot shops!
Already are. Myrons, Scooter Zone, a couple others, but they are few and far between. Most scooter shops used to sell GoPed product and other china made gass and electric products. But GoPed ran their whole sport into the ground by trying to monopilize it. But considering Razor isn't, our sport is taking over sales in those few shops that remain.

that random trevor n kid is a retard. how can you ride bikes and scooters and say it wouldnt be sick to ride your trails on a scooter? i do both, i have my own trails, and i have one of those growped things. i hit my dirt jumps, and if i case i dont fuck anything up, cause my jumps are rock hard. if i case on my bike i do more damage. id be more worried about random kids on bikes than random kids on a dirt scooter that weighs 10-15 pounds lighter than a regular bike.

Fair enough.100mm is toast in my opinion though.110s for tech/street stuff.125 for flowing park.Idk, that's just how I feel.Riding 100s feel soo slow to me now. Generally because they're 90s when worn down.I like the feel of NEW 110s, but now mine are more like 105s. That's why I see 125s becoming big.

Totally agree with you there.

French ID is going places. I've heard things about there decks coming out and it sounds ill. Their forks are solid and light as fuggg. The aluminum bars have ill gussets. Sure the painted pro is weird, but whatever. I see them going far.As for the tubular fork comment, Andrew was essentially first to MASS PRODUCE aftermarket scooter parts pretty much. I think that's what matters. Anybody can make a couple sets of forks, but not many have the time and will-power to constantly crank out high quality products.

Not to toot my own horn but rad had already sold over 300 pairs of bars by the time BUFFs or sr forks were ever out. And back then the market wasnt even half of what it is today.
I think that in 5 years the most popular freestyle skoot companies will most likely be.
PROTO
RAD
FrID

I think Inward will be big but sort of just sort of follow the innovative companies like they have been thus far. (havent seen anything special form them) I think their parts will stay pretty cheap and basic and fill the needs of most begginers. I could be wrong though, they might have some ideas who knows.

Pretty much its going wherever we take it.
