i spose skoot with a k could work cause the k could stand for 'kick scooter'.
i think the sport will constantly progress but i dont think we will be completely accepted by bikers and skaters until we start making up our own styles and tricks rather than copying theirs.
also ive always thought as all the riders in the sport today grow older in the future the olders riders may start opening up scooter shops/websites,which is already starting to happen,i think this will help the sport progress alot aswell.
overall i think one day the sport will be just as commen as skating and biking but only if we stop copying biker and skater styles and tricks and start making our own.

I agree 110%. Scooters go motorized, electric, kick, etc. On top of the fact that all those electric transporters the elderly use...

A scooter can be an electric wheelchair, a goped thing, a kick scooter, all other types of things as well I bet.

We need to come up with a name. Freestyle scooter is a place to start, but it'd be good to get "push" or "kick" into the name.
ScooterMotorX. lol.

I usually say rider to refer to people who ride BMX or scooters. But it'd be cool to be able to say I ride "???????."

Sure it'd be cool to get into the XGames.
Sure it'd be great to have a ton of scooter riders.
Sure it'd be great to not get made fun of.

But is that really all you're worried about?
We'll get to the Xgames someday, there's no need to rush.
Scootering is already growing by word of mouth and SR.
And if it bothers you when people call you a scooter fag...

When you start to mature you'll stop giving a fuck about other people's opinions.
If scootering is really something you enjoy, keep doing it at all costs, and don't let anybody get you down.

off topic but...The only time you are aloud to refer to trails as "world class" is if they are N. east coast/pennsylvania, UK, or of course the endub.And scooters could become huge just because of how convenient it is.
As for a specific name for "freestyle scooters" idk.

Cali had some world class trails. All plowed or raced out now. Even Sheep is practically a race track now. Only thing left now is Hidden Valley or Slater. But then there's Stephen Murray's backyard, and I'm pretty sure Nasty still has his setup, could be wrong. But yeah, trail scene in Cali took a huge blow a few years back.

i think whats realy gonna hit skoots off is its easy to get into it because its alot easyer and fun to pick up.. skateboards can be just damn stressfull. i hate how every one thinks every damn thing has to be so challenging just to be cool i personally love skoots the most cuz i can just hop on it and do whatever the hell i want as if i was playing a video game or something

Hidden is plowed now. My buddy pedro dug/rode there everyday. Their nice, but Even pedro prefers NW trails over cali trails. Just sayin. Trails around here are different we got wayyy better dirt cause of the rain. Same with the NE and UK. I mean most trails I go to around here are smoother than the parks.

Not sayin cali trails suck. Theyre awesome. I would just ride some UK sh!t if I had any choice.
