I push mongo and ride ski
but I'm just explaining my point of view, and probably on behalf plenty others. i think that there is a list of unwritten list of things you should avoid. mongo is one of them, along with indian givers, and switching your stance while you ride to make tricks easier, and referencing natural and opposite. After these guidelines are compromised, the style of riding is whats FREE about it. you can do whatever you want. bowls, street, flat, anything. thats whats free about it.
excuse me? when the fuck do i post gay porn? and im not friends with you, i don't accept 4000 scooter kids... sorry.
Mr. Germany is the best 2011'er I've seen post lately.
I noticed how you complain about street elitists yet you are some kind of join date elitist (lol). Whats it to you if he is a newer member? I don't really see why Nick is getting so damn upset over all this, someone politely asked him not to be a part of the thread that they made and he freaks out talking about how he is not allowed to have an opinion and all. Sure its not a nice thing to do but I don't see you talking to people very politely on here. Practice what you preach broand who the fuck are you? you joined in february and you act like you run the place.
Isn't he Ben?
AND DON'T HEELDRAG
yeah dafuq? i don't ever post things i wouldn't want my mother to see and i don't even have her as a friend.
guys, what i hope david means is that IF you wish to have respect, from scooter riders, skaters, and whatnot, there are certain things you can do which can help you. Not pushing mongo being one of them. if you wanna ride for yourself and don't give a shit what other people think, awesome...but that just makes me wonder if you dgaf, why are you in this thread? You seem to care about other peoples' opinions if you're in this thread arguing trying to change them.
Oh and also, without anyone's respect there would be hardly anywhere for us to ride. Being respected as a real sport is what gets scooters into skateparks that previously wouldn't allow them. But i don't really give a shit about that...cause, you know...(streetelitist4lyfe)
more people to be chill and mature. when I ride with one group of friends if i learn a new trick they talk shit because they already got that trick. but with another group of people (who are older) i learn somthing they got perfect and they still say good job and things
we need less stupid people who need to find any reason to hate. we need to stop calling people "street elitists", when did that even become a real thing? that was like a joke on push it, and it somehow became real life... why?
we need less stupid companies who are just trying to make a buck, and more companies who are focused on quality over quantity. all of you need to realize that extreme sports arent a contest, we're all in it for the same reasons. to break boundaries & push limits. we have not and will not ever need rule books, or guidelines, thats not what this is about. we're not here to nationalize & organize riders into categories/classes. we ride to shred the fucking gnar, and to open peoples eyes. we ride to be our true selves, and to do what we love & enjoy. we ride to get away from everyday bullshit & normal life problems. we are a community first and foremost, and communities need to be united and stick together to survive and function. the younger generation of riders will never be capable of understanding this until the older generation starts to thoroughly portray it.
