devinthedew i did have a point in my post.
We were all having a discussion and then you come in and you are all like fuck you if you dont like my mongo and i shred bowls super hard i and push mongo fuck you all. it was dumb.
Sure obviously you dont know who i am you`ve probably been scootering for a couple of years and think you have something good to say and you really dont. Ive done more for the sport then you ever will.
Thats not what i said at all but ok everyone in this thread has already expressed how they feel about you. Saying dumb stuff like this "i think you are just saying that because you are too lazy too change, regular is much more controlled and takes less effort, and i push mongo naturally".
None of that is true at all you dont know how other peoples body work pushing mongo for me is alot more natural and helps me go faster quicker. i like pushing with my right foot since im left handed/footed. Dont call me dumb when you make claims like that when you cant even back up what your saying. The way you push shouldn't be considered as wrong.

but it can be considered the proper or improper way. go upto your professor and talk to him about your paper. he says you got points taken off because you didn't follow mla format. mla format is the regulation or standard, which is the "proper" way. the mla format for scootering or anything really is regular, because thats the proper way. you can still do it as you please, but you will still lose the style points from pushing that way. the switch isn't about naturally or whatever, because you can train yourself to do anything by practice. for example, i learned how to ride switch comfortably by when i was riding somewhere and my foot got tired, instead of going to mongo, i would just pivot my feet and push in a switch stance. now i can do both equally well. Just learn how to push regular, its better in the long run.

We need riders that are good role models for younger riders. Not people who put gay porn up on their facebook for everyone to click. You would think "pros" would realize that it's a bad idea to post meatspin and stupid shit on facebook when you have 4k 12 year olds added. people are such a disgrace.

I scooter so i dont have to do some strict guidelines of rules pushing mongo lets me get more speed and to be able to push on the opposite side of my pegs. And it feels alot better to me when i push with my other foot it seems like i have no reach. The way i push doesnt reflect my style at all so no i dont lose style points if thats a thing.

Even grown up discussion is turning into a wasteland. This is disgusting. Grown up discussion should be only for the people PERMITTED by the mods.

On a random note relating to facebook, when I search the name Tom, Tom Cirbee (whom I'm not friends with) comes up before my friends who are actually named Tom.

^Haha.
Brian has a good point.
And whats wrong with posting gay porn? Would it be better if they were posting straight porn?
Joe, someone's facebook is their facebook. If the kids don't like what they see they can unfriend or unsubscribe. I refuse to filter the shit I post because some random scooter kids add me, lol. Their problem.

Unrelated ^

To be honest I don't really follow scootering anymore. Yes I still ride, and do it for the fun. I stopped following because to me, it seems as if riders sucked the fun out of it. I say this, because when ever I look, they try to nitpick at the dumbest things. Criticism is ok, but there is a fine line between criticism and nitpicking.

but I'm just explaining my point of view, and probably on behalf plenty others. i think that there is a list of unwritten list of things you should avoid. mongo is one of them, along with indian givers, and switching your stance while you ride to make tricks easier, and referencing natural and opposite. After these guidelines are compromised, the style of riding is whats FREE about it. you can do whatever you want. bowls, street, flat, anything. thats whats free about it.

there are no "unwritten rules", you're just making that up to seperate yourself from everybody that doesn't ride the way you think they should.
