the american dollar is worth more than the canadian dollar. haha so they'd actually be cheaper than $16. but thats without shipping, and bolts i believe.

The cheapest place to get QSC pegs is at Sky High Scooters. I've looked high and low for $16.00 pegs of any sort, but I haven't found anything. I'm just trying to clear that up...

Lloyd I tried to send you a private message, but your inbox is full. I'd appreciate it if you removed all the unnecessary information about QCS seeing as this was original a thread about Tilt.

I'd agree that the pegs are the same length and similar OD(which has limited variation no matter the case), but I feel like they are two very different products. The inner diameter, outer diameter, material, and the manufacturing process are all very different.

yeah no problem I removed everything. It's just that people were asking here so I wanted to give them correct answers.

as to the manufacturing process, yes they are different, but the final products, without being identical, present similarities.

Awesome, thanks. If you take a look at any BMX parts, there are nearly no differences. Pegs on Dan's Comp are all 4140, 4130, or 7075 and the exact same dimensions.

Mitchell, the alloy alone makes all the difference in the world.

Make some 4130 or 4140 pegs

I'm making some over-sized 1" pegs within the next few weeks to see what people think. I thought about 4130 pegs, but the price would be slightly higher at $21-$22 a set because of heat treat. Also, weight would increase slightly. Over-sized heat treated 4130 pegs would be pure money. Post up if you want me to try some 4130 pegs; I'd have to run at least 30 sets to keep the price low. If a couple people are interested, I might give it a shot. I would expect .75"OD 4130 pegs to be $21-$22 a set and over-sized 1"OD 4130 pegs to be around $24-$25 a set.
