Titanium is a little over half the weight of chromoly, however it isn't as strong.
The bars would still be stronger than aluminum.

if you can get them for free, cool =]
make sure they have gussets or they'll bend, then try to heat threat them to get some extra strengh. good luck

its not as strong as people think, yeah its extremely strong FOR ITS WEIGHT, but thats all.

also, ITS INSANELY EXPENSIVE. if you can get it free, sick. send me some.

its really not an ideal material for scooters, at least as of now.

Just no.
Even if it's lighter. (WEIGHT FREAKS.) it's not better than chromoly..

Anyone who thinks that titanium is stronger than chromoly and/or titanium is lighter than aluminium, is an idiot.

Aluminium's density: 2700 kg per square meter
Titatium's density: 4500 kg per sq meter
Steel alloys: 7800 kg per sq meter (yes, chromoly is a steel alloy)

Titanium's tensile strength (63,000 psi) is almost equal to SOME steel alloys,
but chromoly 4130 tops it anyway having tensile strength of 85,000-110,000 psi.
