whats wrong with ski? dropouts were put on scooters for a reason, ive been scootering for a good 5 years and when i first started there was no such thing as goofy and regular riding positions, it used to be all ski (either that or noone told me that other riding positions existed) only a year ago i found out that most people ride with theyre feet sideways, i find it quite hard to break the instinctive habbit of riding ski, and why should i? im not a noob who gives scootering a bad name, its just preferance, im also 6.1 feet tall and have size 12 feet so i feel claustraphobic when riding sideways

Yes, dropouts are put on a scooter for a reason. And that reason is to have a gap for the back wheel, not for you to stand on.

Dropouts were put on scooters so that your wheel isn't floating like Rayman's hands and feet...

Riding ski makes your style ugly as ----- makes you sketchier, and makes shit harder.

Just give up all of you dutty ski hos.

on the concave front. i was riding today and thought; is concave necessary on a scooter? i ride with my feet fully sideways accross the deck (practically) meaning my toes hang off one side and my heels of the other. seeing as the centre of feet dont really bend, not having concave, means that i have a larger contact patch with my deck without concave.

i understand that a lot of people stand kinda on their toes and balls of their feet on the deck, with only their heels hanging off. and that concave would give these people a greater amount of contact and control (as your toes bend in that direction)

anybody understand what im saying, or shall i draw a picture?

anyway, i ride a vert x with no concave and it feels great (although i used to ride a nitro with)

thoughts?

I think this is a sick deck! The fact that a rider designed it, like derek said, makes it even cooler! If I didn't love my phoenix, I'd want!

I'm not saying it's terrible to ride ski or that they should change riding styles ( I know it's impossible, trust me) or that the deck isn't for ski, I'm just saying they shouldn't design decks to cater to ski, ski riders should just learn to ride the deck how it is like everyone else does lol.

Yeah I don't know about that. I don't know why he would send them differently with every person...

im pretty sure it came together but it mean it was 1 year ago so i may be wrong haha, but also i dont have the tool to get it really tight, and i put it together as soon as i got home from school within like 10 minutes and go to work

Maybe for the completes he attaches everything but the deck, but when you order just a deck it comes together?...
