I hate when kids say they dont wear a helmet just cause they think it looks dumb. Well I bet your brains gonna look even dumber splattered across the ground..

Truth. Kids at my local do the same thing. They all used to bust on me for wearing my helmet, then they start watching videos and see kids wearing helmets and some of them start wearing helmets. Then apparently Ryan Upchurch came one day and now they ALL wear helmets.

I love riding with my helmet and im scared to ride without it so i try and not forget it everyday.

and i believe the ringing in your ears should stop eventually because, the ringing is caused by your brain trying to fix it self, so just pretend the ringing is like jackhammers fixing your brain... even though that sounds bad =p

I find them very uncomfortable, although I will wear them when trying large or new tricks that have potential for head injury

A couple years ago I thought full face helmets were the coolest thing, I was wearing my dads cross country full face, and this kid just came out and squirted in front of me with a water gun. I hit the brakes, went over the handlebars, and landed face first. I ground most of the side of the helmet off, the gloss nd outer frame and stuff. but looking at it afterwards, I realized it would've ground up most of my face....

Lololol I brought Ryan to Pennsauken and Willytown.

Yeah, I wear my helmet. But I try harder not to fall when I'm not wearing it. When it's on, I'm pretty careless, and I usually fall more since I don't really care about anything as much as my head.

If I'm riding street, theres a 99% chance I'm going to be carrying my camera backpack and no other hat. So I might as well just wear my helmet..

jake's right.. ive hit my head a few times and its definately messed with me a bit. i dont really wear a helmet unless im trying something im not confident about, but it definately helps. ive never really acquired a head injury worse than a nice cut or a concussion, but there have been times where i probably wouldve died if i wasnt wearing a helmet.

I ALWAYS wear a helmet. Street or park, doesn't matter. Riding without a helmet is dumb, plus I have the comfiest helmet ever. Last year I got a concussion from trying front disasters on a 6ft quarter, slid out and fell backwards, head first, down the quarterpipe. I landed and my head just snapped back and I felt really dizzy. I would be dead if it werent for a helmet, which was cracked clean in half at the back.

If you don't wear one because they look stupid, I bet you'd look stupider lying on a hospital bed eating alphabet soup and shitting in your pants.
If you don't wear one because they feel weird, get one that feels good! I have a tripple eight and now I don't even mind wearing one at all.

i was sitting on a seat, and i heard a bang in the river next to the skatepark so i looked away for a second and next thing i knew i was on the ground, because a skater had flipped out and his board had flewn and hit me straight in the back of my head i was soooo lucky i was wearing my helmet, even though i wasnt riding i could've died or been very badly concussed. now i wear my helmet everywere, i feel weird without it now

I always wear my helmet when I'm riding at the skatepark or anywhere except my house. I don't trust myself enough not to. I'd rather wear a helmet for only 6 hours each week than have to put up with a head injury for the rest of my life (If I'm lucky enough not to die).

everyone listen to spicey. put on the fucking helmet. not for your own sake. if you feel like going out and hitting your head against a wall go for it. but do it where no one else can see you. now if you feel like riding a scooter. put on the helmet, having to watch one of your friends die in front of you because they hit there head sucks. its something that will never leave your mind. on july 8th i was long boarding with my best friend when he got speed wobble and fell. he hit his head right infront of me. His brain stem was no longer recieving oxygen witch means your brain no longer funtions. i watched it all happen. none of you guys need to see that happen to your friend

always wear a helmet! well you don't have to for flat i guess, but other than that always wear one! saved me from a really really horrible head injury, one time i tried a simple 180flyout but i had too much air so i fell off my scooter and my head banged really hard into a railing (theres a railing near my quarter). but luckily i was wearing a helmet so i just kept riding. it wouldve been a really bad head injury so i am very glad i wore my helmet
