i love when people make smart ass comments that dont make sense. purchasing goods from a retailer is shopping, whether it be a food retailer and cooked goods or clothing retailers and cloths, its shopping.

Once again, chic fil a is a PRIVATE company so they have the freedom to be as big of bigots as they damn well please, they have the right to refuse service to anyone they want and that goes for hiring as well, we live in the united states of America, a country founded on the want and need for freedom. That freedom comes in many forms and religion is one of then, so as soon as you strip chic fil a of its ability to run their PRIVATE business according to their personal religious beliefs you're striping them of their freedom and rights as an American citizen. Whether you believe its bigotry or not, whether you think its wrong of them to do or not, they can continue to do it because they have that freedom as a citizen of the united states of America.

Now, while I don't have a chickfila near me to boycott, so this is a non-issue to me, your logic here is interesting. If bigots are people who look down on others, and you are looking down on people who you proclaim are bigots, and if you claim they are subhuman (the same claim that some of them make of gay people), does that not make you a bigot in your own right, and therefore a subhuman? So what defines a bigot? Is it somebody who acts on personal views that you don't agree with?

Hahaha, I don't mean this in like a dick way, but when you sit and use "bigot" or "bigotry" every other word, I can't even take your argument seriously. A bigot is someone who stands strongly on their personal beliefs. So I could sit and here and be like "OMG GUISE, ANTHONY07801 IS SUCH A BIGOT. EVERYTHING YOU ARE SAYING IS BIGOTRY." Which technically, is true since you're sitting here arguing your belief that gay marriage should be allowed. And you said I was just "sugarcoating their bigotry" when all I did was say what happened and that people are making too big of a deal over it? You're way overreacting to this. He wants everyone to have equal rights, which is the farthest thing from bigotry. But when beliefs infringe on other peoples rights its completely necessary to stand up against them

Not the point, whether or not we buy gasoline from Suadi Arabia, they are still going to do what they do. They are a world nation. Chik-Fil-A is a company that directly uses your money to fund anti gay organizations. That's not to say you "should" boycott them, but it's "understandable" if you so choose.
