very true. All we need is time. I think there could be more demos, thats what we need (in my opinion) most. Nice avatar, by the way.Dom said:Yer it would be, people need to stop aiming so high, and just let the sport grow on it's own.

AlexPeasley said:okay I've been seeing all this bullshit about how you people think scooters are "gay" why do you say that? i think you all are mad because you want to pick up hot chicks, make loads of money and all this other bullshit. do you know skateboarding wasn't always the craze like it is now. it was just like what scootering is now, at one point everyone wanted a freaking scooter because a new line came out called ''Razor scooters'' when skateboarding 1st came it was just a piece of wood with fruit boot wheels on the bottom, are 1st scooter was the same with handle bars.
new skateboards came out that toy makers disigned and everyone wanted them, then no1 did and no1 skateboarded and only losers did (tony hawk was one of those losers) it was like this for 5 years then it got a little bit bigger and bigger till now where everyone knows what a skateboard is, same with you guys bmx's.
so stfu and go scooter and if you still have a problem with it... still just stfu.
scootering is slowly comming back

On a serious point though, you are right, scootering was just a phase for SOME people, as was the yoyo and pokemon. But with our sport still having some manufacture support behind it, (such as micro and razor still making scooters)
the sport has carried on, so in a few years once alot of the people have stayed in the sport and progressed to a higher level, there will be plenty of media coverage and so on. But just let it happen, mellow out and listen to some bob marley for the next few years.
shortyjordy said:yeah it could be like skateboarding, but then again, it could be like rollerblading, get really big and go to the X-Games, then all of a sudden fall down again. Rollerblading is still pretty good though, just because your not in the X-Games doesn't mean that you aren't very popular. We just need time, remember that. Rome wasn't built in a day.

No we don't need to be in the X-Games to make our sport more popular, but the truth is our sport isn't very popular, and very few know the capabilities of them, that's why people call scootering 'gay' and so on until they see what is possible. You need to see it to believe it. And I agree, Rome wasn't built in a day, and that's what alot of people expect.
