That's because of the small washers between the wheel and deck. With a wider, more spread-out area to distribute stress, that wouldn't happen.

they warrantied my donut dehubbed grippers. i think their warranty problem has been fixed.

Yes you can cut down Addict decks... my friend's dad has cut down 2 Addicts, one to 19 inches and one to 17 inches.
