Let's hear it.
What kind of cars have you had/liked? Any you're looking to purchase soon?
I'll start.
First car, 1993 Ford Probe. Got this baby with 188,000 miles. Lasted from around March 2007 till October 2007. Transmission went on it, everything besides "Park" was "Drive," including reverse and neutral. This is the first of many times I'll say it, I DO NOT like white cars. At this point, my driveway had 4 white cars in it. Gross.
Second car, 2000 Oldsmobile Alero. It was convenience mostly. My sister bought this car, drove it for a year, and was moving to Hawaii. I purchased this car with just over 100k miles for $2,000 cash. I still hate white cars. This car lasted from October 2007 until September 2009, where I saved up for about a year to put a hefty down payment on my next car...
Third car, 2003 Pontiac Vibe. It is shown both before and after. Purchased with 88k miles and planned on having throughout my entire college. A deer did not agree with me 2 months after purchase, and decided to run in front of me at 55mph. This car lasted from October 30, 2009 until December 14, 2009. Insurance company said it was totaled, RIP.
Fourth car, 2001 Oldsmobile Alero. Purchased this car with the insurance check from the Vibe, and saved about $3000 from the price of the 3rd car to this one. Had 48k miles on it when I got it in January, right now it's almost at 63k, yeahh I drive a lot. Currently owe about $1700 on this vehicle, and I'm trying to get it paid off by the end of September. I want to save up during winter and spring, and hopefully be able to put a very substantial down payment on what I hope to be my fifth car:
2009 Pontiac Vibe GT. I love these cars and they are made by toyota and just run forever. Just gotta keep the deer away.
Just want to make a point too, even though it may seem like cocky or whatever, I've paid for everything with my own money that I made from working. My parents do not pay for my cars, insurance, gas, maintenance, ect. This is something I'm especially proud of.
Alright, monster post, let's see yours!
