hahaha, i love this. i honestly dont care if my computer performs like a god, im running vista right now just cuz my computer wont let me run lenox. but im never getting a mac. and thats one of the only things i dont like about my gf too. shes a mac liker. :C

Maybe cause they're a little more spendy than they need to be, and honestly marketed towards people who want ease of use and people who want more than they need.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge mac supporter (and plan on getting one as a desktop to replace our old desktop) but they have the most retarded marketing ever.

Ubuntu doesn't do any of that? It doesn't operate better with adobe, it cant run EVERY single program, its interface is now based off of Apple's and continues to do so with each new version! So please, elaborate your accusations! Because as you continue to accuse me of being an idiot, you neglect the fact that MAC OS, and Apples PC's are the industry standard. Not Windows, not Ubuntu. And its not because its a ----ing trend.

And what in god's name does the stupid android and ipad remark have to do with anything? Who cares! It doesn't even reflect the argument you twat!

i have had a mac, windows and ubuntu, and the mac has been the easiest, and best one by far. ubuntu is great until you try downloading something, and you realize you need some different special program and it has hundreds and hundreds of folders and is really confusing. the editing software is crap too. its just too much of a hassle, and macs are so easy to use.

look, mac isnt made nor has it ever been made to be a personal computer. thats not its purpose. windows is the personal computer HENCE PC. ubuntu is a smart way for it.

It doesn't come with antivirus it's the fact that the market is more towards windows about (80%) so virus creators have only made a couple viruses for the mAc

Urgh. I can't stand people who buy Mac's just because they are Apple products. I'm gonna guess that you also have an iPod Nano/Classic + an iPod Touch + Possibly an iPhone.

I have no problem with people owning the products they want. It's just when people spend all their money unnecessarily on Apple products JUST because it is an Apple product. (And just because they have nothing better to do with their money.) However Brock, you yourself may have other reasons for wanting a SINGLE Mac that I totally agree with.

I cba to post my laptop but I have a Dell XPS 15:

CPU - Intel Core i5-460m (2.6GHz)
GPU - NVidia Geforce GT 420m (1GB)
RAM - 4GB
HDD - 500GB

It isn't insane specs but it runs modern games such as Crisis in Med-High graphics effortlessly which does it for me. Only cost me £649 ($899). Absolutely love it!

Oh and Airplanes... Stfu. Why would you argue about the OS on phones? Its a pointless argument. A PHONE IS A PHONE! Why would you care if the menu is set out better? And you can't go around saying that Windows is for people who know nothing, because you would find that most of the online community that isn't using a Mac (They have no choice on OS) is using Windows. Whether it be PC Gamers, Architects, or just home users, you have just insulted the majority of the community.

ugh i have an ipod nano and i have an ipad 32gb and i also have a iphone 4 yes, and no i dont buy em just because they are apple they are way nicer then any pc out there.
