Do you realize what you just wrote? A mac IS A PC. There is no difference in hardware today between a PC and a mac. The only real difference a few years ago was PPC processors. You can run Windows on a mac. The only difference now is the OS, which can do most of the things Windows can do except it isn't up to date with gaming (although Steam is kind of changing that now, kinda).

I personally am not a Mac fan and don't enjoy using them. I don't like Apply fanboys. I make fun of people for using Macs, but its their preference. Macs are easier than a Windows machine hands down. Trying to stuff this Unbuntu shit down peoples throats is a waste. Linux is a bitch. Not to mention there is no decent video editing programs for it that compare to Final Cut or Premiere or Vegas. Preaching you can probably run them in Wine is stupid too because its not native.

Oh and iOS vs Android? iOS is hands down easier to use than an Android phone. I personally like Android more since its open, easy to root (or jailbreak if your an Apple guy) but if someone that isn't tech sawvy asks me what kind of phone to get and they want something easy, I'll tell them to get an iPhone because it is easier and 'there is an app for that'. All the iPhone apps are way more polished than Android apps.The only thing is if you have an Android phone, you are probably going to be able to get an app for free that you have to pay for on the iOS but it isn't going to be as pretty.

Exactly. Honestly I would rather use a cheaper PC, but you can only use Mac OS on Apple's machines. The fact that I can run whatever software I want kinda makes up for it though, plus Adobe's programs run like a champ on Mac OS haha

technically you CAN. but apple makes it so fucking difficult.

i can say i enjoy the stability of a mac.

I suppose some of the software that comes with them is better than windows standard software. for example imovie is clearly superior to windows movie maker.

Why are people bragging about the macs that their school has? That's like me bragging about how much shit the Best Buy down the street has, which is clearly superior to that of your shitty school by the way. Just saying.
