instead of cutting the dissy fork, you could have just taken the bolt and got it through the SCS and in the compression cap, and then you could have gotten a nut that fits on the bolt and just tighten it for a starnutless compression. Works a beauty, too.
 
That is wonderful actually. I love scoots where work is put into them.

i do this with my hic and it comes loose soooo much

is the inside done just with a drill alone? or a boring bar?
A boring bar, but some older ones I made were just done with a normal bit. It really doesn't make a difference. Your bolts will still stay tight.
