DUDE that thing is sick haha, i'd never think of puttin holes in the like side of a district like that though. but hey, it works for you so.

the outside wall holds zero stress but rather than risking it breaking at the front, i stopped well before the start of the neck. the stress is mainly supported by the inner walls as they are connected with the neck and the second walls helps absorb landings and supports grinds as the rails are on the second walls

I knew that, but wouldn't the holes in the headtube create weak points? Or are the stress points farther down the headtube, out of the way of the holes?

they actually do nothing at all since they are so far away from the stress points which are where the ht connects to the neck and where the weld from the gusset ends, i could chop 1/2 of it out from the top but that would look retarded and it doesnt need to be any lighter at the front end

about 3 hrs whole deck, i have no vise so its difficult to be careful but i have done it enough times to fix that problem

I just cut the slit off my bars, if you want to run it with a slit you can just jam an old fork tube into it. Also it's a cane creek s8, I've had it for over a year now and it still works well.
