district v2i w/ fsa impact
sliders (over a year old now)
nitro forks
nitro bars 23.5 h&w
pro comp clamp
wtp rhombus grips
has been that way for about 2 months and i occasionally put on my 120mm wheels, no cracks and only bends are from smith grinds haha

I really want to cut a V2i down to 19.5 inches and cover it with speed holes because it looks so sick. Should I do it?

Did some experiementing on my scooter and came up with this.

Pretty much ICS/HIC hybrid compression, it's really unnecessary in all honesty, but I like it and it's the most solid I've ever had my HIC. Made the shim longer (3 and 1/4th inches), used a bolt from the bottom of my forks to the top of my shim, and clamped my shim on, holding both my headset down and my shim down as well. Then clamped my bars on.
Also, I put multiple layers of griptape on, to give my deck a little more feel. Haven't really gotten to see how it rides yet, but I saw that longboarders do it so I though I'd try it out since I bomb hills on a daily basis.

Also, back on the TSI, feels good man. Nice and heavy.

i actually invented that compression for maddgear haha, i still run it because of how reliable it is

cut it down but dont speed hole it, you need experience of how decks actually stress and disperse landing energy. myself and very few people have done it properly but if you dont ride your scooter a certain way which comes from many years of riding, i wouldnt say it would break but it would put high amounts of stress to one point and that will cause it to break. not saying i ride carefully because thats far from true, i whore the shit out of flippy tricks these day but if i draw up plans (when i feel like it) then maybe get someone to do it.
