One of my brakes came gripped and it melted off after about two uses. It is a stupid idea, for sure.

It's called friction. Friction creates heat. Heat at high temperature can melt things like adhesive on the back of a sticker or grip tape. Find a hill, hold your brake all the way down it, then touch your brake. You'll understand. Hahaha

yeah i mean my brakes get hot, but they dont melt griptape and stuff. Just my experiences. Using your brake to manny down a hill does the trick

are flexfenders thinner than razor brakes?
