I wouldn't really call a pro model a "real" scooter until you have modded it to the best of your ability and have it how you like it. Also he might not be ready to get a pro model and likes his a2 just fine (not saying your not.). Is the quick release clamp at the top of the steer tube...

No there not, B model forks are the ones with little shocks that the springs always come out of. And aren't Old A forks almost the same as the old Pro model forks?
