Steering Column Flex: would a taller SCS help at all?

As I said before the ONLY benefit of a full size SCS will be that you get .5" of extra contact between your clamp and your bars. It will not have any more contact with your fork because most scooter forks only go about 1.3"-1.5" above the headset, so there really isn't a need for a 4" SCS...

    Help Me Guys

Just so you guys know, this is not intended to be something that makes it so you don't have to own any other tools. It is intended to allow you to leave all those other tools at home. So instead of carrying around a backpack with a bunch of tools and crap in it; this will just be a tool that you...

    Help Me Guys

Alright, so I am currently in the process of designing a multi tool specifically for tools. I am just trying to see if any/how many people would be interested in a scooter specific tool. It includes all of the necessary allen head sizes in both standard and metric, as well as a socket drive. It...

Depends on the deck. Just because it bolts together doesn't make it stronger and vice versa. Also, I deleted all the stupid posts from the past page. This thread is still about scootering, so if you aren't talking about scootering then do not post. None of you guys are funny, so stop trying to be.

Steering Column Flex: would a taller SCS help at all?

You get .5" extra of clamp on your bars. When your bars are already over 27 high, that is going to do almost nothing. Also, I do not think you know what leverage is. If you want your bars to flex less, you want less leverage, so shorter bars. Leverage has nothing to do with how much metal there is.

    Bs sugercanes?

You should not be sliding into them from a backlip. You should quickly swing your arms around after you get your back wheel over the rail, so you lock in right away and can pop back out.

    Bs sugercanes?

Yeah I can do them. Use your arms and legs to turn your scooter into the backwards/hurricane position, but try to keep your upper body straight. If you turn your body you won't be able to bring the scooter back around. It is a really weird trick to learn, so just practice a lot.

Steering Column Flex: would a taller SCS help at all?

With bars that tall you are going to have flex regardless of the diameter. You are applying a lot of torque when your bars are basically 28" tall. if you want less flex then you are gonna need to make bars with a thicker wall. I would just get used it if I were you. Every scooter part flexes...

    backsweep question

I have been riding the tilt bars since June, they have 5° of backsweep, and I barely noticed a difference. It really shouldn't affect your riding.

He literally had no idea that McKeen did it. He landed it and the dudes were like "Yo Erik, you know Mckeen did that right?" and he just had no clue. It was his warm up trick anyway. He didn't land the good shit.

What is the thickness of the tubing for bars?

If you are in the United States using imperial measurements, then you want 1.375" OD with a .058" wall thickness. Crossbar is a .875" OD, but wall thickness depends on what bars you have. Most use .065", but source I believe uses a .083".

Proto Gripper Durometer? (river glides vs grippers)

Grippers are not softer than glides. I believe when I tested them with the durometer at the tilt shop they came in at about 85a-86a.

Anyone cut tilt nimbus to fit ethic decks tilt scs

You will need a spacer. Do not cut it, or you will remove the threads and need to put in a starnut.

    Flavor Awakening v2?

The new size is 4.8" x 22". Everything is the exact same except for they welded the front plate onto the deck. It is actually a really good feeling deck.
