wtf. don't glue your grips man, then it leaves a bunch of residue on the bars that isn't good if you want to put on new grips...

A new way that I just thought of right now, but haven't tested yet, is to put your grips in the microwave, or oven or something like that to heat them up a bit (don't burn them) and make your bars cold (freezer, or ice water) so your grips expand, and your bars shrink, and plus the hot grips will make the cold bars condensate, making it easier to slide them on, and then just wait for them to go to room temperature, and they will stay on nice and snug...Or you can just use hairspray lol.

I dunno man, you just told him not to use glue, but you want the dude to put his grips in the oven? Hairspray works fine.

ps, you can get the glue off easy anyway

lol, i dunno why i posted that, it just came into my head for a second there and I thought it was a great idea so I had to post it haha. But when I glued my grips the glue stayed on and I couldn't get it off. I think hairspray should work the best, or soapy water - that's what I used and it worked fine...

Hairspray!, put the hairspray inside of the grip then slid them onto the bars then the hairspray will set, it comes off with water..

I've always used water, just don't be a pussy and use your muscles (or lack thereof).

And for the Animal grips, don't get them. They're super soft, but too soft because they wear out really fast. I've had three friends with them on their bikes and they've all gotten holes in them after 2-3 months, it's ridiculous.
