How do you guys get on your animal Edwin grips.
wtf. don't glue your grips man, then it leaves a bunch of residue on the bars that isn't good if you want to put on new grips...Jakob Burns said:like any other bmx grip soak in water and slide on i usally just put elmers glue inside and slide them on
Danny Poo said:Ive never used elmers haha, but i usually use hairspray.
Dre said:A new way that I just thought of right now, but haven't tested yet, is to put your grips in the microwave, or oven or something like that to heat them up a bit (don't burn them) and make your bars cold (freezer, or ice water) so your grips expand, and your bars shrink, and plus the hot grips will make the cold bars condensate, making it easier to slide them on, and then just wait for them to go to room temperature, and they will stay on nice and snug...Or you can just use hairspray lol.
I dunno man, you just told him not to use glue, but you want the dude to put his grips in the oven? Hairspray works fine.Dre said:wtf. don't glue your grips man, then it leaves a bunch of residue on the bars that isn't good if you want to put on new grips...Jakob Burns said:like any other bmx grip soak in water and slide on i usally just put elmers glue inside and slide them on
