Ask a parent for help.
Or for a help full tip you could take that clamp off drill a hole from 1 side to the other and bolt it or screw it in place.

alright, I have a Razor Pro model with all stock parts. At this point, I'm just going to skateparks and practicing on ramps doing jumps and basic tricks like stalls. I need to know if this kind of stuff puts my ride at risk of

1. snapping the folding mechanism in half (resulting in me needing to bolt it?)
2. the center bar snapping (in which case I would need to get a PROTO or a Defiant grip?)
or
3. cracking my deck to the point of irreversible damage (which can be prevented with a deck reinforcement?)

again, I understand these are crazy basic, but help would be much appreciated. thanks a ton

I thank you personally for using the stickies!

The razor pro should last a while if you're just starting out. So in order:
1: The folding mech shouldn't break until it's been ridden a good 2-4 weeks, depending on the person, since you're starting out, it should last quite a while. You should bolt it regardless, like so:

2: The center bar..? If you mean the bars (or steering tube?), they might snap eventually, but only if you're really sketchy. They normally bend before snapping though. When/if they finally bend/snap, invest in some one piece bars. Look around and find the one that suits your riding/budget.

3: Reinforcements are always a good investment. DSA decksavers are slightly expensive, but have been shown to reinforce quite well. You could also buy strip reinforcements, Lucky dropout reinforcements, or ... any other reinforcement out there!

Just keep riding it. Once parts break, replace with aftermarket parts. There's a wide selection to choose from now a days
