Q: I want to make "trolley bars" I'm not sure if thats what you call them but basically I want to bolt a new crossbar into my stock rps. What size tubing do I need for the crossbar and should I use chromoly or a different kind of metal? Thanks :)

Okay, I was a dumbass not to forsee this, and i dug up a thread that partially answered it, but the answer wasnt quite clear enough or specific. I bought a TSI Thom Cat fork, and now i want to run pegs again, on the right side. Am i screwed? Do i have any options?

Hi, just found this site, after trawling the net trying to find a scootering forum!

I am a complete noob, I don't know the first thing about scooters.

Me and a mate want to get into it. So we have a few Q's:

1. Where's the best place to start about buying one?

Don't wanna spend loadsa money, so second hand? What makes are good, are the majority of decent scooters custom built? Or do companies do full builds?

2. What are the classic micro scooters like? Any good? Seen as good? Not good?

Cheers for the help,

Fisher..

1. the best place to buy a scooter is probably wal mart or target..get a pro model and bolt it. you could do second hand but probably not the best idea..also you could buy a razor ultra pro witch is inexpensive and really good for n00bz..

2. do not get a classic micro..

I remember looking at sprites on skater HQ and thinking about how cool you could make it look. One day when I get a job, or I have heaps of spare parts ima get one and trick it out. Like show cars, they look fucking awesome but can't drive for shit....
