If you are going to Paint the bars there's no real need to RAW them fist.

Just lightly sand the bars and then apply the new color.

The TRICK is to follow the directions on the can regarding re-coat times- it does make a difference.

has anyone ever had a problem with water coming in the top of there crowbars and corroding the inside?and do they come with a clear coat on them

i need help i have a district compression kit its just the little bolt that goes through the forks into the starnut in the bars. now when i go to a skate park or just out on the street it seems to just lossen its self up and fall out and i have a peg on my front wheels so every time i have to put it back in it means i have to take the peg off and its anoying thanks.

this probably has been asked alot but can i used threaded forks with a threadless headset until i get my threadless forks?
