that best of 2009, is not even going to be valid.

everyone knows that proto is going to be best of everything ever forever and ever voted by every insecure, insufficient, and biased opinion on this website 1000 times over.
EDIT: leaving that proto lash in, but its not a personal attack its just the feeling i get when i come here.

securing opinions though subtleties
doesnt validate the importance/leadership of anyone.

its just ever more clear as to how pathetically petty individuals older than myself are.
(this includes many people across the board)

i guess i look forward to the day that this sport is too large to be contained largely in a single community

where swaying and class validation is slightly less

yeah i guess im focusing more on the company and product shit
instead of the rider shit
but even that is kinda biased.

its silly to keep cluttering this place with rants,
id rather prefer it locked and not deleted.

It's not just with the company...it's even some riders who didn't release shit in 2009 but still get voted "Best xxxx rider 2009" just couse they are a name in that aspect of riding (street, overall...)

Not to mention best rookie...lol :) people who ride already a few years are mentioned there...

yea to tell you the trurth that inside scooter vbest of is full bull shyt look at all the nominees and look that all pay sponsorship for the site. not starting a battle but a lil fishy to me

It was all riders.

to add on not saying o proto was never nominated im pissiesed because some other companies were not nomined either and they don't pay inside for sponsership

You dont have to pay inside to become a nomonee lol.
A large group of rider's picked them and everyone who veiws inside voted for the best.

i really dont see why everyone gets so worked up about "the best of the year" shit. its not like you fucking win anything for it, so who cares lol. its just a bullshit poll. it doesnt actually result in some type of award.

Bro, I have to say that I disagree with you 100%. You're throwing a pretty BIG accusation out on the table without any facts. It's making YOU look stupid, not anyone else.

Who cares if Proto was or wasn't nominated. It doesn't take away from the fact that the nominations/voting is legit and done by the riders. Maybe the voters are just more intrigued and enthused by another companies products, or riders.
Proto may rule SR, seeing as they are the only company able to advertise here, but they don't rule the rest of the sport.

The IS voting was 100% legit. I was part of the nominating/voting. The people that voted actually have brains too, unlike 90% of the userbase on this website.

The SR awards are legit, although I'm not happy with the best photo rules this year... kinda dumb IMO, maybe someone on the staff should pitch in and throw in the work to allow more photos to be nominated instead of some of the trash that happened to make it to the POTW.

proto: created threadless systems, forks, and the scs which will forever change scootering.
eagle: created metal cores which will forever change scootering.
tsi: created 1 piece decks that will forever change scootering.

wait did eagle start making wheels for scooters in 08 or 09? either way, those are the 3 companies that deserve it. but i think proto deserves it most.

anyway, who cares about it, like greg said.
