boner's theory on OLD a models

well i've been riding one about 7 days.. its dead. iw ent to the park..and now it justd ead. they suck ass i dunno how anyone prefers them to pro models. i just decided to try one since mmy b is all cracked to shit. and the whole foldy just died once i was showin my dad a flip at woody. btw. i only did like 5 flips on the thing..6 tops. and i noticed when i was leaving thepark it was ll movin hardcore and shit.. so i put my foot on the brake and pushed up then down and it died. lol.whole thing ripped off. how does anyone like them. they aren't easier to do anything on. they don't ride better. they sure as hell aren't stronger. so y not ride pro models instead. ppl like cary. i don't get it. just tell me your ideas on them.

Old A's right?

Thats all I have ridden, ever, and they are starting to piss me off. I always rip the foldy right off after like 3 months of non-hardcore riding. I rode my friends pro...As soon as I get the money Im buying a pro, im SICK of 180'ing big things and hitting the break because its so close to me foot. With the pro, I had soooo much foot space and I just love the design.

I'm perfectly fine with old A's and I have size 10-11 shoes, and I rarely land on the brake, and all I do is 180 pretty much. And they don't break much for me either, probably once a year or so, if that. So I guess it's just your style of riding or something.

i like old a's but i go through those little fuckers so fast i dont have anymore... and they sqeak like a matress....

i am riding a pro right now same as sean and im finally progressing n shit

ya. i dunno. i ride the same way as cary..just notas big..or stylish. but we do the same things. so i don't think its my style of riding. dunno. its just dumb..i decided ot just test one..see y everyone liked them.. then it just kept cracking evryday more and more... then the foldy got cracked today, then more. then the sids cracked. under the foldy cracked. welds got huge cracks..then it just broke. i was like " dad, this is probably gonna be my last flip on this deck and ill probably die showing you" aha, cause i wanted to show him one whw he came to pick me up.. i wa sonln there for an hour too.

i like old a, promodel looks 100 times better and stronger and so on. atm i got old A and it has pretty cracking. im gonna probably buy micro-xtreme bullet or something. coz the promodel can still start cracking. there is nothing good on old A, they crack fast, they arent pretty big ( if you drop from roll in your deck will slip to wood or how you say it, you probably understand me, even with 110mm. with bullet or promodel you go without problems ). and there are pretty more things, really, get promodel or micro-xtreme. i wud suggest bullet bcause there is no point to buy promodel what will crack sometime ( in 6-7 months) or osmething.

I got myself banned.
I used to ride old A's and i was allways heel scraping. I hate them now. Theyre awesome for salad grinds though which are near impossible on pro models/b's.

I hate pro models, but i cant do long ass 180s anymore with old a's, but its a small price to pay for improving in other areas. My old A's last about 3-4 months.

I don't like the design, seriously I think the dropout design is just idiotic, no wonder cause it's the first model produced by Razor. My brother's getting one though, but he's a little kid so the little size of the deck won't bother him and it should last a bit unless he does some big drops which is what broke his old scooter after a year of riding it. Plus it was the only good brand scooter I could find on Allegro (polish Ebay) in a while.

I think old a's are pretty solid. I haven't broken a deck yet, and they are pretty much all I ride now. But I haven't really tried a pro so I can't really say right now. If you have a welder on you, then just reinforce the stock welds around the foldy and the rear forks to make an old a last twice as long. Plus if the rear forks snap off, you can re-weld them on, unlike on a pro.
