Lol. It's not hard to understand once you look into it really. :)

The basics of how an engine works is that fuel is sucked by the fuel pump to the engine where it is injected into the intake valve of each cylinder and is mixed with air the comes through the air filter and air intake that is also moved into the piston via the intake valve. The mixture is then compressed in the piston and the spark plug in each cylinder ignites the mixture causing a miniature explosion that creates power which is transfered from the engine to the transmission. If it's front wheel drive a the transmission sends the power to the front wheels. If it's rear wheel drive. The power is transfered to a drivetrain which then gives power to the rear wheels. If it's AWD the power is given to all four wheels equally, but depending on the car and what kind of electronics it has in it in the case of AWD one set of wheels may get more power then the others depending on who needs the traction most.

Most guys will rate the power like this.

AWD is best
RWD is 2nd best
FWD sucks donkey balls. Stupid torque steer...

AWD is totallll win.

And back to the point of NewVsOld evos+STis.

The older ones were definitely more like, "hey, lets go really fast off road and bounce around alot." now its more centered around lets be safe and drive nice but still go fast.

IMO. Old>New.

Anyone down with these kinda video games?
i mean like forza, Colin Mcrae rally, or like PGR?
None of that NFS shit, i guess PGR isnt as realistic but its still mad fun.

I like NFS. :(

Yeah I agree though. I liked Old better myself.

I like PGR and the newest Burnout because they both have bikes. I play a lot of MotoGP and WSK (World Superbike) myself.

Forza is awesome too, I just never bought it but I have played it.

Oh and Steven if you have questions ask away dude. Just tell me all the symptoms and I can probably diagnose it for you. Tell me what it sounds like, when shit happens and what you are doing at the time, etc. Also. The make model and year of car are really needed and a maintenance record would be cool too.

If I fix your car I get a free Jiu Jitsu lesson yes? :D

Haha. Ill stand and spar with you, and ill critique you as we spar. And if you wanna roll and work your BJJ we can give that a shot...haha. Anyways..umm, its my friends old car, that he gave to me before he left for Iraq, Its a.. 95 Pontiac Grand Am. He never really took care of it i guess..But like ok. Ill be driving, and then like randomly, It will be like im pressing the gas really hard, but im not. Like it will make a loud engine revving sound. And then it will randomly die...lol. When i took his car, The Service Engine light was on, but i never really payed attention to it....I jes wanna know why it would randomly die, in the middle of me driving it.

Alright. With a problem like that there are several things that could potentially be wrong.

The first idea, is that battery is shot to shit. It's a 95 and if your friend really didn't take care of it chances are he didn't replace the battery. My brother had a battery in his car that was from 2000 that was just replaced which was the original battery and I was absolutely fucking amazed it lasted even that long. That's the first idea though. Your battery might need to be replaced.

What is your oil pressure like? When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced?

Pump issues are also a possible problem. And do you know when the spark plugs were last replaced?

Check that vacuum and ignition coils next time and see if they're still in good condition.

This is a problem that can come from a lot of things. Just one step at a time.

my passenger side k03 turbo was failing so i decided to uprgade to rs4 k04's along with the upgraded fueling and new fmic.. also my engine block was messed up so its now a 2.8l with custom pistons and forged rods i should be boostin at 22psi..... got all the work done at AutoSpeed Performance which in my opinion is the best audi tuner on the east coast

NFS is turd. and you know it.
the old ones were dank though. hot pursuit and stuff. so fun.

The bikes in PGR are like, impossible to drive well. so hardddd.

Was just talking to my brother about cars on the ride home from town.
hes getting a ECU, a new turbo and a new intercooler after the ECU and once he gets the right funding, and eventually new cams. Hopefully no more crashes and he can start autocrossing it.

And its become official that i am going to fix up a VW cabriolet. from like 1985.
Shits hella tight, convertable. But its had quite a few problems in the past, but what can you expect, its a VW.

Edit: man above me. HOLY LORD THAT SOUNDS FUN. 22psi is some classssssyyyy sh*t yo
