All my friends are leaving within the next two weeks, my local is gonna be empty, I don't go away to school until January.

Shit sucks guys, I know a lot of people on this site aren't even at that age yet but how do you feel about everyone you know going away to school?

Once your out of high school you realize shit goes down hill quick! All your friends you're used to seeing everyday pretty much vanish and you dwindle your group down to about 5-7 great friends depending on how much effort you want to put into hanging out with them.

Ohhh your going away to college, i thought you were staying in your hometown but your friends were going away. That's exactly why I'm not going to college out of state. One of my good friends goes to college in Arizona and since its only an 8 hour drive he visits a lot and has been back for awhile on summer vacation. Your situation is much worse, i feel for ya man

I've still got one more year of my high schollege crap before I go to a real college. I'm fairly excited and apprehensive at the same time. I still haven't done any scholarship stuff or applications, but I suppose most people don't until about late August, September, or even October for 1st draft picks or whatever.

I'm getting mail from Ivy League schools already haha; I'm going to start junior year. Also, I don't really like the people in my hometown, so I want to get out and explore the world after high school. I might study abroad. Who knows.

School above travel, a gap year is a nice decision and doesn't set you back, but if you waste away your 20's running around and don't have anything to make you money or a career out of... You're fucked.
