JonDogg's way would NOT be a good idea usually, because you would most likely strip the threads on the bolt/starnut. No offense Jon <3. It prolly works good for you though

ok i just ordered a compression system 2 and i thought there was something that u had to put on the starnut to lock it in place? or do u just slip it in and it stays in on its own???

Jon's way is at your own risk. It might be easier but then you might strip threads on the starnut, or maybe on the bolt if you suck that bad.
