shut up.
lock this thread.
Useless post, why lock it when it's a decently legitimate question?
It's all a matter of personal preference.
Lets take a good scooter
Pro deck - 40$
pirate reinforcements - 25$?
metalcores - 35$
One piece bars - ~60$
for the 180$ you could just get 4 pro models.
That's without aftermarket bearings/madd brake/new headsets/forks/compression
now with SCS, cane creek s-3, madd brake, and inward fork...
Tack on another ~35$ for the headset, 65$ for the SCS (no shipping..) 15$? for the brake, and ~60-70$ fork depending on what you get.
APPROXIMATELY 360$. EIGHT PRO MODELS.
Anyway, if you bolt your bars and remove the clamp, no more unnecessary height changes
If you bolt your stock handlebars through the hole where the button goes, and tighten the hell out of it, it won't wiggle TOO much, however it might.
a decent example of a more stock > aftermarket scooter
Pro bars/deck/brake/headset = 40$.
HYPER wheels - ~8$ each
New grips- ~ 12$?
That's 60$ for a cheap alternative to aftermarket parts, and it's still a pretty good set up.
Like i said,
it's all about personal preference and finances, too.
edit: misspelled decently, DUR.
