Aftermarket parts are pretty much necessary to make a scooter completely solid. Sure it's possible to have a stock scooter that's pretty damn solid but bolting the foldy/bars and dialing in the headset, but it's still nothing compared to a scooter with one piece bars, threadless forks and an SCS. If my deck didn't flex because the foldy is all cracked, my scooter would have absolutely not flex in it.

i think its just you americans but aussie riders have perfected the art of dialing a scooter. the way we make them solid is crazy. our stock scooters r probs more solid and sturdy then ur modded scooters.

If you can perform good tricks on a shitty scooter than you're better than someone that does the same on a aftermarket scooter.

I honestly can't ride stock scooters anymore. They're too light. I'm scared airing out and stuff. I get too twitchy in air. It's also hard for me to ride with a stock angle headtube as well. If you ride a 5/16" bolt in back with a pro headtube, it's too far back. I feel cramped. 3/8" in back, old A headtube is perfect. Also, every time I ride peoples scooters with stock forks, I can feel them flexing. I always ask them "it's not gonna break, right?" before I drop in or something. I'm not nearly as confident on other peoples scooters. I'm just so used to have a solid scooter, that I know is not gonna break on me, that I am more hesitant on others scooters.

Well i ride pretty much stock everything and i dont get scared when i go big lol

Yeah, im stock everything too, except a trolley bar; if you can even call that aftermarket...
Plus you can modify stock forks with a few plates welded front and back for added strength, and i've only ever broken like 2 necktubes on the fork over 1.5 years.

You guys all need to chill out. Sure I don't go that big, but I know for a fact that my scooter is more solid than yours, because mine is the most solid thing I've felt other than Andrew's. I don't care if you don't like my riding, did I say anything about it? No. Oh and I won most original, not best style, so if you're trying to talk trash at least get it right. As far as aftermarket parts go, there are some parts that really make the scooter more solid. You can bolt you stock bars and have them be about as solid as one piece bars if you do it right, and you can reinforce forks so it at least seems like they're strong, but there are some parts you can't compensate for by modding them.

first bold, other than stock they have are australian scooter product forks (ugly), and inwards (cost ~180$ after shipping and such), SOA forks noone wants because they're a ripoff/cost alot. Not many people ship to aussie anyway.

i break stock wheels in a matter of minutes.. ill take micros thank you very much. i have spent exactly $0 on my scooter, and it has plenty of aftermarket shit on it, you just need to know the right people to make you/give you shit.

however if stock shit lasts you days and you dont care about taking time to bolt aluminum bars so they dont rattle then have them come loose in the next day from the aluminum stripping.. i dont care, run stock.
