I agree. Its only be 8 years of people riding scooters. skateboards were inveneted in the 1950/1960s. so thats 40-50 years of time for people to catch on and start to ride. compared to skateboards, scooters pretty much just got started. i bet in 20-30 years, there will be so many more riders, and the sport will have progressed so far. the St. kilda festival, with the minipipe competition or whatever, was a huge step forward.Brian-Amato said:well every sport had to start somewhere. bikes & boards & even inlines have been around for a while so they have had time to catch on. if i remember correctly, in RVM1, that jeff dude said '... and in 2000, Razor re-invented and came out with a brand new line of freestyle scooters..." or something like that. it's only been 8, almost 9, years since people even started seeing tricks being done on them. it might not be a while until it catches on, but hopefully it will someday =] in my opinion, i think it will
