I really don't like the new Ethic decks, they look so thin and if as they were going break the moment you grind on them. Like why so much cut outs on the headtube. Really don't dig the idea of making the lightest decks you could possibly have. At the same time, some might like and that's just my point of view.

trust me, this will be fine, if i can ride a 998 grams (not an error) addict without as much as a tiny bend after a 7ft drop, then this will be far better off.

Yeah, it might be strong, but it just looks like that, with all the cutouts, that it's going to break under my feet. How do you have such a light deck?

ride "properly" would be the answer. that entails being flexible, light on your feet and have some understanding in energy transfer/weight balance.
i have a light scooter (always sub 3kg even when fully loaded 4 pegs) in general because
a) fuck working against gravity and physics in general, let it help you.
b) i can do what i want with my scooter, Ive been "modding" parts for atleast 5 years now and i dont show it on this forum because if companies do lurk here (andrews b personal think tank hehe) and knew what is actually possible, i lose the chance to do it the right/only way, rider developed and run 100% and a handful of people know the same thing but not to the extremes id go
c) i am experienced enough to ride it to its potential.
d) imo all scooter parts out there are shit with very few (i can count on my hands) that are capable of dealing with my expectations and they all are heavily modified to do what i want them to. you can always get more out of your stuff if you actually understand what is happening to your parts when you ride (break everything in double digits and triple for a few of em then talk to me about it).

also fuck maddgear would of done just fine
