most parts shipped from other countries have shipping charges applied but they dont tend to impact the price that much, i guess they didnt really do that with the apex shit cause then no one would but it due to the price, so they just matched the AUS price

but either way man Apex is expensive as fuck

Shipping only plays a small part, American parts cost more to buy in Australia because the mark up is ridiculous. The exchange rate is a factor but that doesnt justify the mark up. Most of my scooter has been ordered from America because even with shipping costs added its still cheaper than buying the same part in Australia, even without shipping costs. I paid $120 for my Nimbus fork (including shipping) when the coloured ones first came out (from Skyhigh), yet to buy it in Australia its like $135 without shipping. Everything in Australia is expensive compared to America though.

Aussies get screwed in prices regardless. Our dollar is about the same as the US but our stuff costs almost twice as much. I have no idea how you could be getting apex stuff cheaper than us but you're lucky i guess? Shipping costs to Australia are probably the main issue for us.
