Nissan sentra ser spec v they are fast and good milage
Buy an older Civic or Jetta from the 80's to early 90's. You won't get a fuel efficient SUV for 3k
I'm kinda skeptical about Civics, I've heard they're pretty shitty.

I'm looking in bigger surrounding cities like Kansas City and St. Louis, there's nothing but '93 silverados around here.
Try to stick to something reliable as well. You don't want your first car to have millions of issues.
Are you lying?I turn 16 in 9 days, hopefully im getting a ford ranger.
you want good gas mileage, and a six cylinder? bigger engine = worse gas mileage.
whoever said anything about civics are shitty is a bullshitter. people hate on them because they're so trendy, but honestly that's because they're one of the most reliable cars out there. i'd so go for a honda. avoid VW, too many problems. fords have a few problems but once they're fixed you're set for a while. BTW you could get a honda with 200k+ on it and it'll still last another hundred thousand miles haha. also, look into acuras.. acura is owned by honda. nissans are good but they're generally a bit more to fix. toyotas are also cheap since they're made in the USA, as well. but avoid older ones.. they have a LOT of problems. geo = toyota, check those. not popular so people let them go for cheap. FUCK mitsubishi. don't even waste your time with them. VWs are an investment along with Audis.
and as for an SUV i'd say a toyota 4runner, my dad's is still perfect and from what i know it hasn't been in the shop once.
My dad is a mechanic and ive heard him say all of this exactly. Hondas go forever, VW's are problem causers, fords are decent ect.you want good gas mileage, and a six cylinder? bigger engine = worse gas mileage.

Got totaled in 3 weeks
subaru bruh, you could probably find like a 94 or around that year impreza for 3k, i got my 96 legacy for 1700 with 202k on it and it runs like a dream. subarus last forever so dont be too skeptical about high miles, although make sure its been maintained but then again thats the same with every other car
