Seriously, Lauren Faust, the creator of the show, worked on Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, two great shows. Just give it a chance. (brony since the OG days of early 2011)

Not quite catchy. I watched the first episode and I'm not feeling it. BUT this does remind me that I should rewatch Powerpuff Girls 'Twas the Fight Before Christmas.

this convinced to give it a try so i watched 1 episode and then couldnt get pony out of my head so i watched another and another then i just accepted i was a brony and finished season 1 =/
