The French ID fork is one of the top forks out there today. Its light, beautiful, and strong.
It has all the characteristics a fork should have and then some......

Specs:
- One piece CNC machined design for optimum strength.
- Anodised black with laser etched French ID logo.
- Supplied with stainless steel axle and bolts.
- Weight: 260g

Issues:
There has been some upcoming issues with the fork. Sadly we have discovered that the
legs and fork tube are "glued" together instead of welded. This has created a problem
with SCS users because after a couple of months the SCS "pulls" the fork-tube and legs
apart. Thus breaking the fork.

Please say how your FrID Fork experience has gone.

Yes, but not everyone bought a FrID Fork from the SR store. This leaves the people
who bought from C4, Sky-High, and K-124 House fuckedd. Will French ID replace the
forks that have split apart? If anything, could Andrew tell us how to "pin" the fork??

Another question has come up, can you raw the French ID fork without messing up
the "glue".

Welding aluminum makes it weak at the welded area. If you are a
SCS user I suggest pinning it just like Andrew did. Thats what I'm
gonna do to mine. Me and my dad figured it out how to pin it correctly.
I'll post up how to do it when I get my fork this week...........

Yeh they're for you can weld them correct?
When you weld aluminum it loses around 60-80% of it's strength (unless you post-weld heat treat).
I wouldn't recommend it unless you can get it heat treated.

HOW TO "PIN" FRENCH ID FORKS WITH A GRUB SCREW: get the forks and drill a hole until it gets to ur forktube.(make it a bit smaller than ur grub screw) then thread the grub screw in the hole.

the hole is place on the back of the forks where the forklegs start

i havent tried this but it is very logical, some of u might think im dumb and go off sayin "he hasnt done it so he doesnt know wat he's talking about"

its a logical method...

But I threaded two more bolts in the fork, each from one side. And Glued it with superglue. Still going strong now.
