i can see how the SCS would rip the forktube out
the SCS pulls itself down on the headset and as is tightens it pulls up the forktube
not blameing SCS
its probally dues to over-tightening
I LOVE MY FRENCHID FORK <3333

Think about it, cmon it's not that hard really...
On the 2 forks with pulled out legs, the crown race was still holding up on the fork...
And when the SCS "pulls" the fork, the pressure is on the crown race to compress th headset...
If it was the SCS's fault, don't you think the crown race would have gone down the tube together with the legs?

How To Pin A FrID Fork

You Need:
-One 3/16 x 2 "tension pin"
-Drill Gun
-11/64 Drill Bit

Step 1: Using your drill gun and 11/64 drill bit start to drill a hole at the top of the "D" on
the front side of the fork.
Step 2: Drill a straight hole all the way through until you reach the other side.
Step 3: Hammer the 3/16 "Tension" pin into the hole until it reaches the end.
Step 4: Cut off the excess pin and sand until smooth.

Hope it Helps!!! :D
