yea umm clip head i already suggested that in the other thread
thats pretty good, but wouldn't that make the bar really weak, with those holes?Wasp93 said:like this...
The rod should be threaded so we can adjust it as the wheel wears down.
yes, but he took it off because it didn't work too well (the wheel had to be lined up straight with the brake bolt for it to work properly.Jordan said:thats pretty good, but wouldn't that make the bar really weak, with those holes?
eric magray also made a front brake where you step on a thing on the headtube with your foot and it went through to touch the wheel, seems a lot less of a hassle then pressing a button/lever with your hand.
speaking of eric magray, why doesn't he come onto SR anymore? is he back into bikes?
...yeea.. I couldnt use it then... but sweet idea. I had an old stupid idea a couple of years ago about puting a little piece of metal like that on the headtube and press with your front foot. but I gave up the idea because it is stupid and I had wobbly hands and I would cut myself with an exacto knive if I tried to do it... wich is not so cool... but good idea anyway.Madis said:Very-very neat idea
Not useful for those who use:
- wide bars - they'd need a brake lever or something because of the big space;
- SR forks with compression (starnut and the bottom cap gets in the way).
ugh... nasty shit hahaStorer said:
