Well depending on how many people enter coming in the top 3 might not be so hard. It'd be worth a shot though- and it's free! ;)

The amount these guys are doing for the sport is just incredible, an awesome competition, giving out tons of their product, great prizes, and now flying kids out there? Such an awesome company.

i just wish razor would step up like that. Its so sick how much they are contributing to the scene as a total, but kind of a setback that they are fuzion and not micro/razor haha. Every time i write a post about nextsport it seems like im hating on them but im not :( lol

it would be nice for you guys to fly me there but do you have to be on team fuzion to get flown over?

Well as we are flying in riders specifically for the Fuzion division, we require that video or footage of yourself on a Fuzion be sent to us to be considered. We have no problem if the Fuzion riders enter the other divisions but for the purpose of this incentive we want to choose our best and most dedicated riders.

Thanks Matt for the clarification and I apologize for misinterpreting you. I hope to see you competing in the Fuzion division and being able to meet you in person!

We would prefer you didn't as all riders will be competing on similar products.

We will be judging based on style, skill, creativity and did I mention CREATIVITY? Obviously the Fuzion line is completely different than a 2 wheel scooter and we would like for riders to utilize that for the Fuzion division at XW.

Who will be competing?

Please add yourself to the list so I can get a general headcount. The more registrants that are confirmed the higher I can raise the cash prizes. Additionally if you are interested in being flown to competition (only for NJ and NY riders) please contact me via email. Thanks!

Fuzion Division entrants:
1. Frank Coler
2. Brian Boston
3. John Radtke
4. Tommy N.
5. Danny Warwick
6.

Darren, I will be there for both competitions. Dakota

Well it shouldn't matter, seeing as it's the same with scooters (eg. some people have wider bars, lighter decks, bigger wheels, etc.), you can't really expect to control it. Plus, the extent that you can mod fuzions doesn't really give anyone that much of an unfair advantage..

Sounds great Dakota! Looking forward to seeing you out there!

Dre- unfortunately it does matter to us if the riders are Team riders and want to be considered for sponsorship. As I've said before you may modify your Fuzion as you wish however it must be close to mechanically stock as possible if you plan to continue on to higher levels on the Team. Fuzion products that address the concerns are on their way!

Never said that- considering that the majority of our riders have been sent units from us free of charge it is a request that we think is perfectly valid. You can change deck, bars, grips, tape, wheels, etc. but changing the headset to allow for 360 steering is not recommended because the product was not designed to do that and is unsafe.

Please be clear that when you are modifiying your normal scooters the function is the same and you are merely reinforcing mechanics that are already there. By changing the way the Asphalt moves you are thereby making a brand new product- one that was not originally intended to do what you want it to and not safe to. We're looking out so that riders aren't going to put themselves in danger of being hurt.

I must reiterate, all of your concerns and requests were taken into full consideration and we've designed the next Fuzion product for you specifically- the above average freestyle rider.

Being that the posts are 20 days apart I think I'm ok. ;)

We should have the unit out at our CA event and media and photographs prior as well.

We're currently in finalizing the details for the event. It looks as if there will be about 10-15 riders competing- I believe we were are anticipating having the competition after the Advanced division abd before Best Trick. It would give the Advanced riders a little bit more breathing time before going big.

Right now we're looking at 2 runs per rider (30-60 sec) and either averaging or taking the best of the 2 runs with the winner being the person with the highest score obviously.

Just another note, we will be scouting riders on and not on Team Fuzion, for upcoming sponsorship and demo opportunities. We are re-shooting commercials this fall and also are looking for a few high caliber riders to ride for us at a LARGE convention in sunny San Diego in September. These riders will be sharing the park and halfpipe with pro skateboarders and BMXers- obviously you will be compensated more than fairly and be a few of the first in the world to ride the new Fuzion NX
