no we wrote what some person said god told us to do, over 2000 years ago. Obviously little things were constantly being changed to conform to the laws and rights of people, which changed a hell of alot. Those little details cause a butterfly effect and then eventually theyre probably nothing like the original. The bible is a human creation.

Yeah, the bible also says that sex before marriage should be punished by death, women shouldn't be allowed in public whilst on their period, and a bunch of other stupid shit. It's a book. Christians base their life off of different peoples' interpretations of a book written by other people.

edit: well found my answer, 800 years later they had daughters, and those daughters married their sons, as it says in the bible.
those men were 800 years older than the women, and they had sex with eachother, but 2 men cant have sex?
so pedophile = ok (even if its your little sister)
consensual sex between two males = BAD!

I don't hate gays. Most seem pretty friendly so I see no reason to hate just because they like dudes.

The stupid shit is when people hate gays because they dont want someone gay trying to bang them. I mean, if you're gay, that doesnt mean you dont have standards and want to make love to every man in sight.

dont like the idea of gay people having rights? maybe gay people dont like the idea of strait people having rights, does that mean strait people shouldnt have rights either? gay people are human too, they do deserve rights. i know some chill gay people that are smarter than 90% of strait people i know.

Yes they deserve rights, but not marriage rights. Marriage is meant to be between man an women. I just don't see why. They tried to make me sign a petition on the street one day, and I told them to fuck off. Then they gave me a lecture about being homophobic. I really don't care if I'm seen as homophobic, I don't like gay people. Simple as that.

being married by the state has certain benefits that gay people should be allowed to have, its not just a biblical thing anymore. and i dont see how you can just "not like gay people" unless you're either homophobic or ridiculously religious.
