In all honesty, there's separation from church and state, if the church doesn't allow gay marriages, why does the state have to listen to that? One of my best friends is gay, that doesn't make him any different.. I think it shouldn't be looked upon as different, it just needs to be accepted by now. you can believe it happened at birth or believe it was a decision (which i don't believe at all lol) it doesn't matter people are gay and that's just how it is. Straight people shouldn't make such a hard effort to hate and gay's shouldn't make such a huge dramatic statement about it. cause its really not a big deal if someones gay or not. but that's just my 2 cents haha.

being married by the state has certain benefits that gay people should be allowed to have, its not just a biblical thing anymore. and i dont see how you can just "not like gay people" unless you're either homophobic or ridiculously religious.

As I stated earlier, bringing out the "homophobic" line ain't gonna change my mind. I don't care if thats what people see me like. I just feel uncomfortable with gay people around me. It's like them people from other countries come over to australia and try to change our national flag and national anthem. You just can't do it, it's wrong.
