Headset Prefferances.

I see a lot of threads that ask what headset to buy. So duscuss headsets in here. Ask specific questions or whatever in other threads or make ur own.

But pretty much let everyone know what headsets you like or which ones to buy in here. so they dont have to search/ make new threads. because when theres more of the same threads, the questions dont get answered.

Ill start, I personally DO NOT recommend an FSA Pig headset. I've had mone for a few months and the only way to get it to spin decently is to not tighten it all the way. If i tighten it so theres no play and not a ton of sound, it doesnt spin.

Lemme know what your opinions on headsets are?

i have got a cane crek s3. i have had some problems with it coming loose but i think that may be more to do with my compression. anyways i do it up as tight as i can get it and it still spins forever.

I've used a Cane Creek S-3 and it was absolutely amazing. I did however break the top cup in half after about 1.5 years. But it was still an amazing headset. The FSA Pig DH Pro is ungodly smooth too.

Sars headsets.
Comes in a bazillion colors, spins amazingly even when fully tightened, and it's cheap for sealed headsets (~$38)
Mine ran pretty well even with a broken bearing.

Origin8 headsets are badass. They are cheap, look good, and are as smooth as an FSA an easier to install. We gave one away to the Pro Winner (Josh Kish) at SD4. If he likes it, you know they are good.

DON'T BUY AN OEM PRODUCT!

Just my opinion, if you can afford it buy the real deal.

I got an 's-8' thats a OEM product and it has s-3 bearings in it and i think it could be better but its going ok.
