hammer in the bottom cup more it looks way out and make sure your fsa sealed bearing race is on your forks all the way - also maybe try to flip the sealed bearings over theres little grove on the side that shold be facing down

yea, I cant get the bottom cup in any farther at the moment. but thats not the problem because I had a stock one hammered in ALL the way and there was still the stiffness. Im pretty sure its an issue with the top cup, but I dont know what.

yeah i had that problem exactly
so my fsa was fine on this one fork..then i put it on a new stock fork. it would keep getting loose or be too tight. so then i switched to stock headset. that headset didnt work. i switched back again..but like cleaned my headset and it worked again. but also i think i might of had the top cup upside down.
LOL WTF how can you even put it on upside down without realising???
well first off im pretty retarded
2nd i know very little about headsets

are your bearings from the stock headset broken or bent? and try to use a diffrnt stock dust cover that one might be bent. that happend to me a while back

well when I let it jiggle at all, after about five minutes its like rediculously loose and I feel like my bars or forks could snap.

ohhhh lol once you have it were it feels perfect, put that big nut on top and make sure its tight (the top one not the dust cover) then put your pars all the war down on the forktube and tighten it. after 5 minutes it MIGHT wiggle alittle but it wont get that wiggly

i had the same problem when i used all stock. I just took the bearings out, clean the cups with a rag and the bearings and let them soak in 2 in 1 oil and put it all back together and it worked amazing for a really long time.
